Mr. Dev Kumar Yadav is working as a Scientist ‘D’ in Grain Science and Technology Division of Defence Food Research Laboratory, DRDO, Mysore. He has received his Masters in Food Technology from University of Allahabad, Prayagraj and pursuing his Ph.D. in Food Science from the Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. He has more than 13 years of R&D and teaching experience at DRDO and his area of specialization includes Starches and their Chemistry, Development of Instant and RTE foods from Cereals, Pulses and Millets for Defence specific applications, Microwave Processing of the food grains and their milled products for shelf stabilization, Development & Stabilization of Non-Dairy Milk Analogues. He has also worked as a Principal Investigator of Young Scientist Project of DRDO in which he successfully installed a modular and customized ration storage system; SILO at Nubra Valley, Leh, J&K in 2018. Dr Yadav has published more than 41 National and International publications which includes peer reviewed articles in Journals, Book Chapters and received several awards at national and institutional levels. Currently he is also functioning as an Editor of ‘Raksha Khadya Vigyaan Patrika and Indian Journal of Nutrition.
